Youth. It's a word filled with endless potential. When you get to know young people better, you'll discover they are our pride and joy. Bright and optimistic, they embody a brand-new day and see the world with fresh eyes.
The actions and attitudes of youth can significantly impact our society. If properly guided, today's youth can become our trailblazers, society's hope, the protagonists of the future, and catalysts of progress. Recognizing their true worth, we see them as a valuable investment.
Inspired by the words of Saint Josemaria Escriva, “Don’t let your life be sterile. Be useful. Blaze a trail. Shine forth with the light of your faith and of your love” (The Way, no. 1), the Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI) was born.
Young people have so much to offer—they are full of energy and look to the future with immense hope. They're just waiting for the right opportunities. At KALFI, we believe in them and aim to help them make a difference.
Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI) is a private, non-stock, non-profit foundation.
We’ve been making a difference since we registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 14, 1983. Not long after, on October 28, 1983, the Bureau of Internal Revenue recognized us as a Donee institution. We’re also proud to be certified by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) as a Donee institution.
We provide holistic formation to high school and university students, as well as young professional women. To achieve this, we’ve set up KALFI Centers in convenient locations to ensure easy access for our youth.
